Devil's Ball

Death Valley National Park view map

*** Best view at original size ***

Using a 5" (130 mm) crystal ball to broaden the view from Devil's Golf Course and
the surrounding Panamint Mountains. Telescope peak is the highest point in the BG,
some 11,000 ft (3,350 m) above this salt flat on the floor of Death Valley. This is a
merge of three exposures for HDR and a slight crop to straighten the horizon.

I am always amazed that it will balance some of the places it will balance. This came out great.

Fabulous image...a small world in a big world! Fascinating effect you use here with your crystal ball.
Now, if you can just get the ball to predict the future...
