A National Historic Landmark, San Xavier Mission was founded as a Catholic mission by
Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. Construction of the current church began in 1783 and was
completed in 1797. It is the oldest intact European structure in Arizona.

Wonderful capture of an inspiring building with an impressive history.It must be quite a landmark.It looks as if one tower has been damaged at some time or never finished.Lovely light to get this wide capture of the whole structure against the tones of the sky and foreground...V
