Sharp Shinned or Cooper's Hawk? These birds were observed from roof of a building I worked at. A second visit to the nest and it seems that it may be a Sharp Shinned Hawk. I was not able to get an inflight picture, but the tail was very squared off. This is a nesting pair. I have not been able to tell which is female or male, but I believe they changed nest duty during the first days pictures. I could hear their greetings but didn't get to see both of them at the same time. The second day I only saw one bird.
