As much as I would like to relate the story of the trials and tribulations to get this shot ... you know, a major mountaineering expedition, sherpas, climbing ropes, avalanche danger, etc., the fact is that I took this shot while sitting on the padded quad chairlift at Fernie Resort in British Columbia. Sometimes the easy way is the right way.
