Sitting beside a wonderful over-the-top water fountain in a beautiful Roman square, how could one not be enchanted by musician buskers that add such a great vibe to any city. Still, most folks seemed to be in such a hurry to get another item ticked off their bucket list, that only a small percentage stopped to enjoy the music and smell the proverbial roses.

I had the pleasure of sharing my bench with the company of a very old Italian lady who, in no uncertain terms, told off her spouse who was trying to hurry her away without listening. She obviously did not have a euro to spare, so I made a decent payment to the busker for both her and myself. We enjoyed a private moment of music in the eternal city of Rome.
