Morant's Curve, near Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Morant was one of the more famous railway photographers hired by the Canadian Pacific Railway many years ago. This was one of his favourite locations for photographing trains chugging through the Canadian Rockies.
Normally I have great luck in having just the right photographic elements come together in front of my eyes (and lens). Everything came together here ... except for a smoking steam train negotiating the curves! Maybe next time ...
