Winter is alway a favourite time for me to shoot. The colder and stormier, the better.

Modern cameras can take a reasonable amount of abuse and I tend not to baby them. They get thrown into my backback and dragged into the backcountry in all kinds of weather. Even when something does go wrong, I would rather have a beat up camera needing some repairs than a pristine "just out of the box" camera that hasn't been to the amazing places that I have.
