Before coming to the USA, we had a picnic on this beach. I could remember slipping and sliding down the bank with hugh pots of water and other cooking stuff. I hope they now have steps leading down to the beach.

I stayed in the Village of Owia in march of 07 for 2 weeks. I am friends with the natives, and was able to visit the Salt Pond daily. Of all my travels in the Caribbean, Owia and the Salt Pond are among my favorites.. You can count on meeting the most friendliest people of the island there.

It's one of the best places in the St Vincent and the grenadines it's very origenal it's just fantastic in every way.LOVE IT.
