Colored Volcanic Landscape - Timanfaya National Park
It is amazing that "dead" nature can be so colorful. The national park is established in a volcanic area. The soil is colored by different minerals containning iron (red), copper (blue) etc.
Beautiful colours - haven't been there for a few years, but there is some stunning scenery on the whole island. I particularly like Cesar Manrique's architecture - also at Timafaya, although Mirador Del Rio and Jameos Del Agua are probably my favourites.
