The Licha Village (黎槎村), also known as Bagua village (八卦村), is situated in Huilong Town (¦^ÀsÂí), Gaoyao City (°ª­n¥«), Guangdong Province (¼sªF¬Ù). It was built around seven hundred years ago and was constructed in accordance with the Taoist cosmology to represent the fundamental principles of reality, seen as a range of eight interrelated concepts. The village was designed like a bagua maze where the houses radiate from a central bagua and were constructed using curved wok-handle roof tiles and ¡§green bricks¡¨ It is almost abandoned now and only a very few people still live here.
