Cobh (pronounced Cove)

This is a view from Cork Harbour of the town of Cobh. Cobh is remembered as being the point of departure for millions who fled Ireland in famine times to America. It is from here that the Titanic made its disastrous maiden voyage. Cobh is also the resting place of many of those who perished when the Lusitania was sunk.
