Whether it counts as creative photography, merely capturing a likeness of something another person has created, is debatable, but as I'm such a fan, I'm including some photos here.I'd like to point out that this is not necessarily work BY native americans (although Cha' certainly is).
Hominy, Oklahoma USA - A local native artist, Cha' Tullis, seems to have made the entire town his gallery. The hilltop above town is adorned with the amazing sculpture, life-size and two-dimensional, of an Indian party surveying the streets below. The fact that you cannot get up to the figures only helps preserve the illusion of reality. There are murals on many buildings, and he has galleries, both real and virtual, to browse, where you can see much more.
Santa Fe, New Mexico USA - the sculptures on Canyon Road, the main (and most expensive) artist district are a joy to see. Even if I had the money, the shipping back to the UK could cost as much again, perhaps, so I content myself with photos.
