This was a truly amazing trip to the largest wilderness left in the world, out on the tundra some 235 miles NE of Yellowknife in Canada's Northwest Territories. We were based in the welcoming Aylmer Lake Lodge, surrounded by all this beauty, and if this wasn't enough, had the chance to see many creatures in their natural habitats, including wolves. This trip was run by the International Wolf Center:
See http://www.wolf.org/ for details of their work.
Update: Please note that the company now running Aylmer Lake lodge includes wolf-hunting amongst their 'businesses', so may I take this opportunity to wish the owners an untimely and painful death.
