A record of a trip from Taihoa Hut to Mount McKerrow returning via the Whakanui Track.
Glennis and Allan went over to Taihoa on friday via the Butchers Track and Cattle Ridge (4hrs). On Saturday Ian and Jill Goodwin, Ian Leask, and Ian Watt had an early start from the Catchpool (~8:15am) arriving at Taihoa just before 10 am. Then the 3 Ians and Allan headed off for McKerrow leaving Jill and Glennis at Taihoa.
