Few people looked at my flowers, and I figure even fewer will look at this picture, but I'm still posting it. :) This is straight out of the camera other than lighting adjustments and resizing. Okay, feel free to look at the picture and leave now, but here comes the story behind it.
The grey cat is Max and he's a coward. Occasionally when he's in a very bad mood he wants to make a point and pick a fight with the brown cat. The little brown cat can kick Max's butt without any problem at all. Anyway, when Max wants to pick a fight he goes and stands by Mai Dawg and gives him a dirty look for a long time and lifts up his paw every now and then showing the brown cat that he means business. Well, they are doing this right on the shelf above my computer and I think, "Cool, I'll take a picture of the moment when Max finally gets up the nerve to strike!" So, I pop up my flash, aim the camera at the scene, and push the shutter down to the focus point and hold it waiting for the incident to happen. Well, it only took about 1 1/2 minutes of waiting before the strike, but the problem was that I was very relaxed and it was quiet and peaceful in my house and I was SOOOOO not ready for the WILD CAT NOISES that came right before the strike! So, my finger worked fine and pushed the shutter at the right timing, but I nearly jumped out of my seat from the startling scary-movie-cat-sounds! So, that's my excuse for not getting the picture centered right... But the blur from the slow shutter speed and fast flash is all real, and I thought it was kind of cool! :)
Notice Max fighting with his eyes closed (like I said, he's a coward)! Also notice the blur from his paw moving into action, and the REAL tough cat Mai Dawg just punching back at Max. :)
