This is Pusilus Maximitas and Mai Dawg. Max is the gray tabby. He ran away Friday. Now Mai Dawg is sad... :( So am I. The house just isn't the same. Hopefully he'll come back home soon. But he's never been gone this long before. He's only been outside twice before since I adopted him back in 2000. Oh well, what can you do?

He's back. A bit less in weight and stature, but he's back. Dirty, scraped up, and weak... Left on Friday, came back about the same time on Sunday. Nine days. I can feel every one of his bones, and he has a big bald spot on his tail with an open wound... Back to infect my good cat with all the diseases he picked up while gone... Oh well.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestions! I do not have a garage, unfortunately. I will leave food out though. Hopefully he'll come back soon. He has to come back in fairly easily with me because I can't chase after him very well (I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair). I'll keep my fingers crossed.

My cat Wednesday has run away twice. The first time she was gone five days. I put food and water out and that seems to bring her home. If you have a garage, put the food and water in the garage and leave the door open about 5 inches. The first time she ran away I found her eating in the garage and she came right back in the house with little coaxing. The second time I found her walking on the neighbors fence and she let me pick her up and take her home.
