These photos were taken with a Samsung SL50 compact camera (10mp) converted to use a 720nm infrared filter. These images were done to test my camera and Photoshop abilities in this new medium of photography. In particular I decided to Photoshop the images with a false color look that restores a blue color to the sky.
All the photographs were taken at my parents house. Hopefully in the near future I'll be able to find a suitable location to do additional IR photography.
My Photoshop steps:
1. White balance to the vegetation
2. Swap the red and blue channels of the image
3. Change the general hue of the image to blue and add a slight touch of saturation
4. Contrast and brightness adjustments in Levels
5. Sharpen
