Sego Canyon aka Thompson Wash has several nice pictographs. This panel (Barrier Canyon Style) is one of the oldest in the Canyon and dates back several thousand years. Like so much rock art its meaning is unknown although the usual interpretations of shaman trance tends to figure in. Shamanic spirit helpers like birds, snakes, and other animals can be seen associating with the figures. I'm intrigued by the other-worldly quality of this panel. Along with The Great Gallery this is my favorite of all Barrier Canyon Style panels.
