Taken on June 5, 2012 using a 100-400mm lens with a Kenko 2x extender plus 16 stops of ND filters. I was in Red Canyon at the time and this photo was taken from the visitor center. You can easily see Venus as well as a lot of sunspots.

The transit event only happens about every 150 years.
