This is the main panel at Capitol Reef National Park. It is a Fremont Panel in the Southern San Rafael Style and these imposing anthopomorphs are similar to the ones located north in the Classic Vernal Style. Here we see broad shouldered trapezoidal figures with elaborate decorations. The true meaning of the panel is of course unknown but modern day Hopi and Zuni peoples have attempted interpretation in the past.
