Whilst I visited Stonehenge also this year and found that place to strike a chord of wonder, Newgrange is one of the world's under-rated ancient manmade structures. Newgrange pre-dates Stonehenge and its mystic and art is more intact and compelling. The added bonus is that you are not swamped with the numbers of visitors experienced at Stonehenge.
