Not an exact comparison. The time frame
on the two shots was slightly different,
and the focal length of the two shots was
also different.

But the saturation of the colors,although
influenced by the amount of bright Sun is not
totally responsible. The difference in the sensors
is very apparent. The E-1 also used the 14-54 nk1
lens which is a HG grade lens vs the e-420 using
the 40-150 kit lens.
