I owned an original 70 Chevelle SS in 1981. I bought it from the second owner,the first owner was a young woman.I scared the crap out of her so she returned it to the dealer and it was sold to the guy I bought it from.It was a 454,390hp listed, M22 stone crusher 4 speed manual,trans with a 12 bolt posi.She had a boxed frame with boxed rear control arms.It also had the extra heavy sway bars front and rear.Full gauge package with cowl induction hood that worked perfectly.I was young I got the best looking girls in that car.I loved my SS.I haven't been the same since I sold it in 1984.I NEVER should have done that.Mine was dark green with pearl bucket enterior.All original.Oh god why.
