IMAGE, PRINT, PURCHASE INFORMATION

 

i capture all images digitally using high resolution RAW format essentially providing me with a digital negative which i then process in my digital darkroom using state of the art software.  similar to a traditional dark room process, i attempt to reproduce the scene or mood as i originally experienced or envisioned it, and to enable a more expressive, vivid presentation while remaining true to that particular moment in time and to my personal style.  this is accomplished by utilizing techniques that have always been available in the traditional dark room such as contrast enhancement, color saturation, and dodging and burning.  a caveat needs to be stated here regarding images viewed on this website.  i have taken great care to accurately represent the finished image in my online gallery, however due to web limitations and differences in an individual user's monitor settings, printed photograph colors may differ slightly from the photographs viewed on this website.  generally, the colors and clarity of the image are greater (better) in the final print.
