With two other birders I observed this falcon hunting at Cameron Run this morning along side Eisenhower Avenue. The bird's leg bands were easily read as 60 on the black band over Y on the green band. This band combination identifies it as the female that was frequently seen in the Bailey's Crossroads area of Fairfax County over the winter months. It was banded at the Tuckahoe Bridge in New Jersey in June 2006. The bridge connects Tuckahoe to Corbin City.
