Scampers, the Egyptian Cat

This gallery is a tribute to Scampers, who was born in January, 2011 and died suddenly on February, 27, 2012. He was an Egyptian street cat, rescued and given a home with a loving family and 2 other cats to keep him company. Scampers was outgoing, extremely friendly and very smart. He could open doors by jumping up onto the handle and pushing down with his weight or paws. He never met anyone he didn't like and his curiosity was boundless. He died too soon and is greatly missed.

Paul and Kathy, what a beautiful idea. This is a meaningful tribute to such a valued member of your family. I hope that my dogs, Monet and Stevie, knew that he was your cat and greeted him when he arrived. What am I saying! Of course,they knew. They can run and play ball and opening doors now. They are off to a new adventure! Love, Paula
