When visited, the town of Taos was an elbow to elbow zoo. But just a few miles outside of town one can capture many terrific scenes- as well as throughout the surrounding Sangre De Cristo mountains. The low clouds and bright tree branches against the dark mountains, are what caught my eye. Couldn't get the hungry cow to raise her head which would have made for a bit nicer image.
