Dave,
I am glad we have people dedicated to the environment, such as yourself. It is more important than can be stated to fully document the progress of this disaster. Many hogs are going to be feeding at the trough labeled BP, Trans-Ocean, and their suppliers, and insurers. Environmental costs are especially difficult to quantify, and verifiable documentation will prove essential for the recovery effort to be repaid at more than pennies on the dollar. Keep up the good effort. I will be doing least tern surveys on the Red River this summer. It is looking like the inland population may be more important for the survival of this species, now that the coastal population in dwindling and in danger from the oil spill.
