Dove Field Recreation Area, Kisatchie Nat Forest, May 8, 2015

This is a habitat development area for Northern Bobwhite and other game birds. It also is a benefit to many other animals and plants including butterflies. Tuberous Vervain, Verbena rigida Spreg., has been planted in some areas and was being heavily used by many butterflies on this day.
