To give a sense of the scale: as I recall it, the body is about 35cm long. I can't really tell one cuttlefish species from another, since they can all change colour at will. This is probably a sepia latimanus, simply because that's the most common and it's the right size. And my guide to cephalopods says that sepia latimanus patterns usually include white or black spots distributed over the body, which this one (sort of) has. But as I said, they can all change colour and pattern at will ...
This was taken with flash (of course), and since it was swimming well above the bottom the water around it came out basically black. I have darkened it further in post-processing.
