Well, I'm back from San Fransisco and (obviously) other places in California. It was a great trip!

This is a sunrise. I rarely post sunrise/sunset shots as I usually think they're pretty much the same as the shots anyone else would take in the same place, and because the standard shot looks either oversaturated or unremarkable. I'm making an exception for this one, which isn't really a sunrise shot after all.

I haven't yet figured out how to organise the pictures from the trip. I took about 1900 shots, of which more than 100 are likely to be worth posting; but it will take a while to process it all. Meanwhile I'm likely to be rather busy so I won't be doing much other photography, so expect a steady stream of California-derived pictures for a while.
