There was a brief pause in the food preparation, in spite of my being hungry.

I'm off to San Francisco (and up into the hills) for a couple of weeks starting Thursday. I'm not taking a computer with me (otherwise I do photoprocessing in the evenings instead of relaxing) so I probably won't have much chance to post anything while I'm away. Still one day before I go, though. What to post, what to post ... ??
