This seemed incredibly kitsch. Still, maybe if we'd known we wouldn't be able to ascend for a good view, we might have spent more time and actually tried this ourselves! The lake was certainly lovely. And unlike most paddle boats, these ones had roofs, so I wouldn't even have got sunburned (my usual excuse for not doing this).
