There's something for everyone at Grounds for Sculpture, an outdoor gallery near Trenton, New Jersey. Compared to Storm King Art Center in New York's Hudson Valley, this setting is less monumental, but it also requires less of a hike on more comfortable trails, has more densely sited works, and includes a wider spectrum of materials and quality in the art itself. We thought it was definitely worth the drive out from NYC.
The 3 related to dance are so graceful; two barks, and mine is worse than my bite. The men in the unemployment line (Segal), the sculptures like paintings - 2 like Renoir plus 3 humans, sitting at a table, as if a Renoir group in modern day clothing. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you. It's like a vacation or a class for me. I haven't been to bed yet,and it's 7 a.m., because I am so intrigued by your photos.
