Yes, in 1950. I remember others like it, but haven't seem them in years; mostly buddy shots but with some backgrounds too. I'll remember to ask my Mom about them next time I visit.
Thanks for asking; I really should save these old shots of my dad. I be sure to put up any others I find.

Is this in Okinawa? I am a US Marine photographer in Okinawa interested in collections or old photos of military in Okinawa? Do you have your dad's photo collection?
