Have you read the wonderful little book entitled "Flotsam and Jetsam"? A fascinating book about what washes up on beaches all over the world with some amazing facts. If only I lived near the coast I would become an avid beachcomber (with metal detector in hand). Sometimes Nike sneakers and sometimes treasure... you never know...
