It was dark when I arrived at the Fossil Lodge Saturday night. When I walked out the front door Sunday morning, I was greeted with this wonderful iron sculpture. (Not everybody has a wooly mammothin their front yard.)
I practically had to push the 5 or 6 deer grazing in the yard out of the way. But even though they were slow moving, I didn't manage to get them in focus, so I settled for the even slower moving mammoth. You can see one of the deer watching me closely in the other mammoth picture.
