This photo was taken on Christmas Eve and it was our first frosty morning this winter...
Happy there were a few roses, seedheads and rudbeckia to shoot...
Trying to snow this evening but its a very light dusting so far...
Sad to hear all the going on in the States today....as if there isnt enough upset with the
ongoing pandemic....
We all hope for better times in so many directions...
Thank you for all your visits and kind words...

The cosmos are a beautiful flower to photograph...
Just a few hanging on in the garden now in -2c....
Time to order seeds for next Spring...maybe there will be some new varieties...
Something to make you smile...The Feminist party in Sweden have said that the roosters should not be in the chicken house with the chickens....why?...might you ask....The chicken hasnt given permission for sex so the roosters are committing rape.....🤣🤣🤣whatever next?...the mind boggles....
Enjoy your day....
Thank you so much for your visits and kind words....

and 10mm extension tube...plus a tilt shift adapter...
Friday already...where the time goes I do not know...although today
Has been slow as it has been non stop rain and it looks like it wont stop this evening...
I will tell you something that did make me smile though...last night was Walpurgis Eve and is a foretaste of summer...there is singing, much drinking and bonfires and of course many people celebrating...To try and stop this in a town in southern Sweden...In one of the main gathering places...a big park...they covered the park this morning with cow poo manure and sprayed it with water so it stinks dreadful and people couldnt sit in big crowds or walk all over it...good thinking as people are just carrying on as normal, crowding on buses, going to bars and restaurants and shopping and sadly not keeping their distance to others...hard to believe but it is shown on the news how it is...sadly what is being reported on worldwide TV...is not the true story of how it really is here...
Hope you all enjoy your weekend and I thank you for your visits and kind words...🥰

White Muscari...
At last more flowers are opening and the garden is coming to life...I added a 10mm extension tube for this shot...
We have had wonderful weather the last few days...warmer days with sunshine and blue skies...
Everything is still the same here in Sweden...its difficult not to get wound up when you cant believe what you hear on the news...I suspect all these germ spreaders dont even watch the news so are really not aware of what is happening...It really is a nightmare...
Hope you are all managing to stay safe, sane and healthy wherever you are...
Will get some exercises pottering in the garden later...must just have a power nap first...lol...
Take care and thank you so much for your visits and kind words...
Poppies...
One of my favorite lenses for bokeh...

Hope you are all managing well in your respective countries...
Staying home and taking care of each other...
So cold here again today and grey gloomy skies...
Spring is having a day off I think...

Frosty faded rose...
We haven’t had any frost or snow as yet...the days are still gloomy...
Absolutely not weather for photography....
even Charlie and Jack are reluctant to go out...
Found something that helps with the stomach and migraines...
It’s pure bicarbonate of soda...I have taken it before for colds as it clears the mucus...
Just had a teaspoon full in a glass of water and it really helps...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words.....

French Lavender.....
Just a little bit of color left on the last French Lavender...
Still grey and rainy here...seems never ending...
Giving myself a bit of TLC as my diverticulitis has flared up again
And I can only put it down to meat as I have had a little more of it than usual this past two weeks...
Sooo back to my healing diet again...who needs this at this time of year?
Hope all of you are well and enjoying better weather than us...
Thank you all so much for your visits and kind words on this new gallery....
Have a great week...xxx

Frosty red rose....
Just returned from walking Charlie and Jack in the grey rainy weather...
This time of the year is so dark and we have around seven hours of daylight if we are lucky...
Days like today have to have the house lights on the whole day but I have just lit the wood burner so it will be nice and cosy soon...
Always when out walking I look for interesting things to photograph and today I noticed catkins on the trees and leaf buds on some of the trees...my spring primula have a couple of flowers too...Nature really is confused...
Wishing you all an enjoyable weekend...hopefully with sunshine...
Thank you all so much for your visits and kind words.....

Frosty rose bud...
Can’t believe the roses are still trying to bloom...May they continue a while longer...
it’s going to be sunny and cold today but I am happy to see some sunshine...
might be able to get a few good shots when I take Charlie and Jack for their morning walk...

Frosty Faded Cosmos...
Still grey and rainy but a little brighter than of late...
I am so glad I didn’t finish clearing the garden as there are a few faded plants that make interesting
photos when we have snow or frost...still plenty of time for that as our winter is long...
30-NOV-2018
Pretty Pink Rose....
Another frosty one...no outside photography this week it’s blowing a gale, raining and so grey there isn’t any daylight in our already short days...But...there is snow forecast later in the week....will be out again with this lens looking for seed heads and whatever looks good dressed in snow...
Thank you all for your visits and lovely comments....xxx
