I really enjoyed making this book…my first attempt….
First of all I painted randomly on a sheet of 200grm watercolor paper that was 11-7”’by 16-5”…
Then cut 4 pieces horizontally and taped them together….Folded them into the concertina …
For the cover I used the strong cardboard you have as the back of a watercolor paper pad….
It worked perfectly…For the cover I used some painted and stamped on wet stretch tissue paper that I made on my gel plate….
I stamped on the color purple acrylic paint with the crystal bowls and plates I have had many years….a whole other story to tell…
I glued the tissue paper onto the cardboard and then when dry I attached them to the concertina not forgetting to glue some ribbon to the back cover so I could close the book…not the perfect ribbon but was what I had at the time…
