Near to home....October snow...

We had our first snow fall today...23rd October...
I woke up to see a white landscape and snow falling rapidly...
Couldnt resist taking a few shots...
First in the morning from the open door...
In the afternoon it was blue skies and sun so I ventured out to clear a path...
Then took more shots...

snow everywhere...	heavy snow on the tree in a planter...	must have been extremely windy in the night as all the sunflowers are lying down...
the street lamps look elegant with their white hats...	view from the balcony...	snow coming down in a fast and furious fashion...
little trees wearing snow scarfs...	snow dressed daisies in a zinc planter...	the snow is quite deep...
this sunflower found shelter under the porch...	sunflower wearing a snow coat...	the godetia are feeling the chill...
even the roses didnt esape the snow...	looking down the street at the snow dressed trees...	the lamp is wearing a jaunty snow hat...
now the sun is shining...	love the snow on the Autumn leaves...	heavy snow and wind broke the stems of the sunflowers...so i have put them in a pot so the birds can eat the seeds...
all dressed up and nowhere to go!	red branches...	snow on seedam...
snow on the naked branches...	the godetia is enjoying the sunshine...	lazing in the snow...
almost covered...

oh wow snow already, very lovely images, like the flowers covered in snow still brings some of these beautiful blossom colors out great accent to it

Fresh snowfalls brings its own magic with it. Lovely scenes here! This looks like a serious snowfall... Is this an early snowfall for you? I think the flowers might be protesting a bit?
