Charlie and Jack...
Posing on the decking down by the water...
Soon Charlie will be 8....what a guy he is...he has his own schedule and likes us all to keep to it...
I am sure he can tell the time as always at walk or mealtimes he is ready to go at the same time every day...Jack is backup and leaves decision making up to Charlie...when Peter is brushing his teeth, hair etc...guess who wants the same...Charlie is brushed every morning and afterwards Jack before their morning walk...As soon as they return they both let me know its time for breakfast...and so the day goes on...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....
Stay safe and healthy...😍
Jack...
Handsome Jack will be 7 on the 23rd December....how the years have flown by...
Good to be back and doing artwork again....After my first visit to the dentist in June I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and my blood pressure went from normal to high and I really haven’t been well...had 7 more visits since then...each time with the same reaction....had two viruses and a diverticulitis attack since mid September...soooo had some tests done at the doctors and will see him on Tuesday for the results...hopefully will feel like me again very soon...
Looking forward to some snow as we have had the most wet and grey autumn ever....but today I planted 85 bulbs...mostly tulips to look forward to in Spring...
Hope you are all well and happy..
Best wishes Patricia...

Jack...
Friday already and as Peter hasn't worked such long hours I have hardly got anything done apart from the necessary....Ah well we will see what next week brings...
I wanted to share with you something completely natural that I have found is amazing both for us and animals...
It's colloidal silver...for myself I have used it on itchy eyes or itchy anywhere, ears and in the heat of the summer I had an allergy on my face and sprayed it a few times in the day, it worked and I still spray on a daily basis...my skin is so much better and although it doesn't make wrinkles disappear they certainly are fainter and my skin tone a better color...Poor Jack this summer had his grass allergy a month early due to the heat and his back was covered in sores...we did get some great shampoo and spray from the vets that worked well too...he had it three months and at one time we thought he would be bald on his back he lost so much hair...but the silver relieved the itching and then I found a silver gel for dogs on Amazon that is amazing for sores and can be used on humans too...one lady in the comments said it even cured her athletes foot!...also we have sprayed Both Charlie and Jacks ears with it with good results...so many more uses for it and you can take it internally for better health...love it because I try as much a possible to avoid chemical products....
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...hopefully I will catch up with more comments this weekend...
I leave you with my latest picture of Jack....xxx

Autumn already....where has this year gone?
Hello everyone....
Hope you all had a good summer....Have to say it was actually too hot to do anything here hence my absence as I have had to do what I planned to do in the summer...I have just finished painting the living room and kitchen...cleaned all the cupboards too, just on with steaming the tiled floor in living room and kitchen...time consuming as you have to steam the grout with a turbo tool and then change to a scrubbing brush but well worth the effort...oh I am waffling on....
Here's a picture of Charlie I took after his shower on Sunday in the living room...thought he would look better in one of Jai Johnson's textures...head in the clouds...I have started buying vintage lenses and took this photo with the Meyer optic gorlitz oreston 50mm 1.8...just practicing with it but so far I like it....works really well on my Sony A 6000....
Now its a lot cooler....well cold in fact...have lit the wood burner as it will be just 3 degrees this evening...
Thank you for all your visits and kind words...will try to catch up with my comments between painting the stairway and hall....

Summer's here....
We have had amazing summer weather for the past five weeks...it reached 32 yesterday...a nice surprise after the six month cold winter...
At last I have my computers back...it wasn't a virus as I thought but the hard drive is broken in my PC....almost ten years old so not worth putting a new one in...my lap top is fine and now I am back doing my art work...
Had my routine Colonoscapy two weeks ago and I am happy to report that only two mini benign polyps were found and removed and the best thing is I don't have to have my next for three years....New prep medication though and it gave me extremely high blood pressure on and off for the past two weeks...which I found quite scary as my blood pressure is normally low to normal...no way will I take that again....
Happy to feel me again it was a tough winter....
Charlie and Jack are fine...we have just showered them this morning and they are having a nap with Peter now...
This image of Jack is when he decided to trim my nasturtiums and run around the garden with them...he has a thing about yellow flowers...
Hope you are all in the best of health and your weather is being kind to you...
Thank you all for your kind words and visits....xxx
Jack...
A photo from 2013 that I love of Jack...
We have just come home from our morning walk...
All the snow has gone,it's sunny but very windy and 6+....
It's forcast more snow in a few days and Charlie and Jack will be so happy...
Jack really hates all paper carrier bags and disappears to our bed when one appears....Strange because he has never been frightened by one...
He guards everything and always takes possession of Charlie's stones or tennis balls and of course the food prep area in the kitchen...Charlie is easy going and very kind so let's Jack get away with it most of the time but occasionally they fight and it only lasts seconds but not nice to see...I find a few sqirts of water calms them down...
Such different personalities Jack can be kind and affectionate when he is in a good mood...Charlie is happy go lucky and always wants affection...Love them both....
Happy New Year from Charlie and Jack...
Here is the dynamic duo as full of mischief as ever...Not a new photograph but I liked their expressions...
We all all calming down after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and the New Year...
The tree and decorations are all back in their boxes and it looks a bit bare in the living room...
Extremely cold today and no pleasure to be out...but I was happily surprised to find a swan family of
three young swans and their parents by the waters edge...luckily they weren't fazed by our presence and Charlie got really close to them...Only had my iPhone with so took a few pics...must start taking a camera with a zoom lens with, as soon the mallards and greebs will arrive for their winter stay...must be over a hundred and most days a few swans too...
Wishing you all a pleasant evening....

Jack...
Here is Jack...he was ready for a haircut but I loved his curly ears...
Both are sleeping now as it's almost 2am...Peter is working till 4am and I am still wide awake...
The lovely sunny and warm weather continues and we are all enjoying it after the long winter...
Been busy gardening and have got all the heavy work done now...just the pleasure of planting lots of perennials and the tubs for the summer flowers...Although the garden is almost six weeks behind owing to the freezing nights in April and the first half of May...
The boys are so warm in the day and going to the water for a few dips in the day is a must....
This morning we went to the little beach where the water is shallow for quite a long way out and it's good exercise for them to run in it as Charlie is still overweight and Jack a little too...
Jack just loves to swim after sticks in the water he brings the sticks out of the water then runs off and puts them one by one in a pile...and I have to retrieve them! Charlie also swims for sticks but not so far then he just waits for me to throw another one whilst he waits at the waters edge....The strange thing is Charlie won't retrieve sticks for Peter only stones...had to do a video on my phone for Peter as he found it hard to believe...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...
Enjoy your weekend...

Charlie...
Charlie posing for his portrait...
Time is flying by can't believe the boys will be five this year...
At the moment they are both sunbathing...
Taking it easy after a long play down by the water...
One of the neighbors has a remote control grassclipper and
Jack is the most curious about it....
He watches it and is fascinated until it changes direction...
Then he runs away and creeps slowly back to look again ...
Both Charlie and Jack had their paws up on the wall watching it before they came home...
Still lots of fun and Charlie is very strict with us about his routines...
He seems to think he is pack leader of Peter and I....
Enjoy your day...going to have a nap as Jack woke us at five this morning...

Jack enjoying the snow...
Hello everyone....it's been too long actually since mid July....how time has flown this year...busy with the house and as we were just finishing for the winter damp was found both downstairs and under the kitchen table so that has to be rectified...you can't smell it but it was wet along the outside wall downstairs...floors must be taken up and will start 9th January...
Happy I now have some time to spend on my computer and able to catch up with you all...
Charlie and Jack are doing well...we have already had two snowfalls and they have loved every minute playing in it...they can't understand where it has gone...when it does snow the latest thing they do is jump up to catch it and eat as much as they can...can you believe Charlie was four in October and Jack will be four on the 23rd December, I think time has gone so much quicker since we have had them or maybe it's just that I am getting older too....
Hope you are all happy and in the best of health...looking forward to seeing your latest creations....
Charlie by the sea...
Here is Charlie waiting for me to throw a stick into the water for him to swim and retrieve....wants me to put the camera away his expression is saying....When Peter brings them down to the water usually early morning if he isn't working,Charlie will only swim after stones and Peter didn't believe that he swam after sticks for me...until I showed video evidence...Still the same every day and Peter try's with the stick every day but Charlie just gives him the look and waits for a stone...He never plays with stones when with me...Ah well we are all weird in some way...
The weather is fabulous again with blue skies and hot sun...tomorrow I have to give the balcony floor a light power wash ready for painting with the tinted oil...it's a big area to cover so I expect will take at least two days...not that I can paint solidly all day...doggies need walks and play times...they always let me know when it's time for either...
Hope everyone's weather has vastly improved as summer is flying by this year...Thank you all for your visits and kind words...keep well and be happy...
Jack after his swim....
Here is Jack after a morning swim....he is so happy to be soaking wet and would stay in the water all day if he could...in the summertime when we have hot days they tend to swim three times in the day...cools them for a while and stops them panting...although Jack is really sensible and lays in the shade but Charlie who has the thickest coat lays in full sun...The building work on the back garden is finished now I have lots to do preparing the flower beds for planting...we are really happy with the result but Charliie and Jack are confused as they can't excavate any more...but there is lots of space to play ball...It's been a busy Spring and looks like I have jobs lined up for weeks to come...but as I feel well with my new eating regime I am really enjoying spending whole days outside...weather permitting of course...
Thank you for your visits and kind words...
Catching snow...
Here is Charlie catching snow...one of their favorite snow games...Peter throws it down from the balcony and Charlie and Jack are crazy to catch as much snow as possible...Charlie does this quietly but Jack makes such a noise as he is so impatient...the snow never comes quick enough...
Rainy, gloomy days now...sadly the snow has gone but winter is not over yet so maybe we will have more...such strange weather this winter and germ breeding temperatures for most of the time...
Now the boys are sleeping after an energetic morning...time for me to catch up with my comments...
23-JAN-2016
Jack waiting to play...
Jack is wanting me to either throw or kick snow...he never tires of jumping up to catch it and it must look funny to onlookers as I walk along kicking the snow...the only time I can walk normally is when we walk through the woods...
Charlie is playing with a stone...as we can't find one here in the snow I have to take one from home...he plays the whole time we are here with it then carries it home again...
Whatever will we do when the snow disappears?
14-Jan-2016
Charlie....
Charlie is patiently waiting for me to find a stone for him to play with...he will be lucky...not much chance in the snow..
We have had snow for ten days now and Charlie and Jack are so happy...they just want top play the whole day...
Charlie ate so much snow the first few days he got a doggy cold and lost his whining noise...could still bark though...he is better now but it's impossible to stop him eating it....Jack is racing around amusing himself at the moment...we will spend almost an hour down here by the water and then play in the garden another half hour...Good exercise for me I think!
Charlie with his stone...
Charlie is sitting proudly with his stone that he has just carried home after his play down by the water...
He has always been obsessed with stones and carries them around with his head held high and his tail wagging like mad....Suddenly he finds a plant or shrub he likes and very gently places the stone as near to the middle as he can get it and then like a crazy dog rips all the surrounding plant up...Why he does this I don't know but it's an every day occurrence....Does anyone else have a dog with this behavior? This is why the back garden is mostly plant free...That's until we can have raised flower beds with a guard around them...
Jack doesn't have this obsession but he does play with stones and kicks them backwards and chases them around...
Thank you for your visits and kind words...
Have a great weekend...
February 5th 2015
Waiting to play...again...
Charlie and Jack have been for their morning walk with Peter...They went down by the water and played like crazy for over an hour...Never enough though so they have been playing in the garden and helping Peter to clear the snow as we had quite a snowfall overnight...As Peter shovels the snow over the balcony Charlie and Jack like to jump and try to catch and eat as much as they possibly can...Yelping and squealing as they do it... It's such a funny sight to see and usually I am trying to capture a few action shots...So after another hour of play they reluctantly come inside...Persuaded with their food and milky water...Our next job is to defrost all the snowballs they have gathered...If I am home alone I do it with the hairdryer and it takes ages...When Peter is home he takes them in the shower and it's very quickly done...As the snow is quite deep every time we go out for a walk the procedure has to be repeated...They are like children and every morning they get very excited and go play as soon as possible...Whatever will they do when it has melted?
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...
Charlie and Jack....
Hello everyone...it's been too long....Sadly our run of bad look continued over Christmas and afterwards...my computer has been hacked and with the expense of the dogs still waiting to go to the repair shop...hopefully I will send it in March...My stepmother died at the beginning of January so we had to take a quick trip to England for the funeral...When we came home both Peter and I have had a really nasty virus which we are only just getting over...the best thing that has happened is bringing the dogs home on the 11th Feb....Charlie got the all clear from the vets and ls well now...he is 17 weeks...Jack is so cute at 9 weeks old...they are fabulous together and already have given us so much pleasure...
I will keep in touch now I can upload from my iPad...picture quality is not the best but I wanted to get back in touch with you all...
Introducing Charlie....
Charlie is now 17 weeks old and we are so happy to have him....he didn't have just a cold as the vet first thought but juvenile cellulitis...a sickness that puppies can get between the age of 4 to 16 weeks...he was treated with cortisone and antibiotics for weeks and he fought through it really well...the vet gave him a clean bill of health before we brought him home...he is a little shy of new people but is a kind natured boy who loves his home made meal...yes they are spoilt already...they have dry food meals but the last one of the day usually consists of meat, veges and either rice or pasta...
He is looking good in B/W soon there will be color pics but just now he is still a little pink around the mouth from his illness...
Thank you all so much for your kind words on the first pic of Jack and Charlie...It's so good to be back....
Jack says hello....
Here is Jack at 9 weeks old...he is so cute, looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth but he is full of mischief...easy to train though he already sits and does a high five for a treat...he copies Charlie....
We only intended to have Charlie but when he was sick we didn't know if he would survive the sickness .....Jack was born on the 17th December and Katerina said we could have the pick of the litter...there were two boys and two girls...it was a hard choice as the two boys were beautiful...Jack is half English his Dad Rafferty comes from the south of England and his Mum Chanel lives at the kennels here in Sweden .....we were so happy when Charlie responded well to the medication and we visited him every week also little Jack...Chanel looked after Charlie when he was sick along with her pups so Jack and Charlie know each other very well...
Thank you all for your kind words...Have a great weekend.....
Charlie having forty winks....
Such a tired boy after all the racing around with Jack...my day seems to be in two hour cycles now with Jack and Charlie's routines...they have both settled very well with us and we were amazed how good they are in the night...we did expect a few sleepless nights but happy to say haven't had one...
Also amazing is how good they walk with their leads on...we are just having short walks at the moment but they enjoy sniffing out the other dogs in the neighborhood and picking up whatever they find interesting....
Thank you all for your kind words...
Sweet Dreams Jack....
Jack looks so cute in all his poses especially when he is asleep...
Had a busy day with them today...we are now taking two short walks a day as they get quite rough with each other when playing...often I have to say "time out" and pick Jack up to calm him down...usually after a half an hour walk they have calmed down and have a sleep when we come home...best of friends then...sleeping as close as they can get to each other!
I will try take some different pics with my iPad tomorrow...I am still takings pics with my other cameras but until I get my computer fixed they will stay on the memory cards...
Thank you all for your kind words and hope all is well with you....

Two sleepy boys....
Charlie and Jack are exhausted after their run around down by the water...
Gives me time to catch up with a few chores maybe have a nap too?
They are both growing so quickly and doing lots of new things..
Some quite naughty...they steal the dirty washing as I sort it to go in the machine...
It always goes in their bed...along with all the toys...dog biscuits and stones from the garden...
I wouldn't have it any other way...
Hopefully I will catch up with my comments tomorrow...I do try to do as many as time permits each day...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...

Local news...
Jack and Charlie like to read the local newspaper before they tear it to shreds...
They think it such a fun game as they come in from outside to run with the newspaper, take it into their bed and rip it up....
When they are in the front garden I have to stand on guard to retrieve umpteen stones from their mouths...
At least the crunching noise alerts me to this strange habit they have developed...
Jack is quite cunning to keep his stone and will hide it under his tongue...
Charlie will drop it if a treat is in his view...
We will see what mischief they get up to tomorrow...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....
Charlie waiting for a treat...
How could anyone resist those soulful eyes?
Unusual for Charlie to be alone in the kitchen...
Jack is usually his shadow and he copies everything Charlie does...
Good or bad...
Now they understand that when I put my boots on we are going for a walk...
I am happy to say when I let them off their leads for a run and to play ball..
They do come back to me and walk very well with their leads for the ages they are....
Feeling good myself from the daily walks and I am much more active in the days too...
It's good as I never took enough walks before and spent far too much time on the computer...
Although I enjoyed that very much...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....

Jack with his squeaky Big Mac...
Not only with his Big Mac but Peters jeans that he dragged from the front of the washing machine...
I swear that Jacks legs grow overnight. He is growing so quickly it's hard to believe...
Charlie and Jacks newest adventure is hanging around under the bird feeder waiting for the birds to drop bread...
Not that they get more than enough to eat they seem to love the frozen bread and carry it off like they have won a prize...
Now Jack can go easily up the stairs but has yet to venture down...
I keep in touch with the breeder Katarina on a regular basis...she is a lovely person and over the months of us visiting the pups we became good friends....I am pleased to say that she gets really good results at the dog shows she regularly goes to...often taking seven dogs to compete...the boys parents have done really well in shows and Rafferty, jacks father, who lives in England is a winner too...he also did well in the shows in Sweden during his stay here...it will be fun to compete too when the boys are old enough...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....

Jack after playing in the snow...
Jack was exhausted after playing in the snow with Charlie for over an hour yesterday...
Like his new punk look though...
After a walk and run around down by the water the boys went into the back garden...
Thought they could play a while as I had to bring wood in for the fire...
They raced each other around and around and didn't want to come in...
Until suddenly Jack sat by the door looking so bedraggled and tired...
They both slept solidly for two hours...
Cleaning is fun if I use the mop or dust pan and brush...
I try to use these tools when Charlie and Jack are sleeping...
I am sure they sleep with one eye open as no matter how quiet i am....
Suddenly they wake and attack the mop or brush...
Hopefully it's just a phase....
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....
Whispering....
Charlie and Jack look like they are planning some mischief here...
Such happy dogs to be out playing in the sunshine...
They are growing so quickly especially Jack...
I think he will be bigger than Charlie when he is fully grown...
They continue to give us endless pleasure and keep us fit by taking us for walks...
Can't say WALK out loud as they are ready to go in a heartbeat....
We have to fence around the back garden and a little at the front so we can relax and they will be safely confined...
Just have to wait for all the snow to melt...
We do walk with them in the street outside our home so they can get to know the neighbors...
So far it's been positive reactions from both the dogs and people...
They are such a gentle breed and very good natured....
Time to go for a walk and play now...
They are more than ready...
Thank you all for your visits, kind words and votes...
Charlie and Jacks playground ....
This is where we go to play every day, usually twice and the boys love it...
It will be fun to see their reaction to the sea when all the ice has melted...
I hear that Springers love to swim...we will see...Even on the hottest summers day the water is still really cold...
It tends to warm up a little late August if we have a good summer...
Warmer weather today with sun and blue sky....
So the daily walks were really nice and leisurely ...
Now the boys are fast asleep so I can try catch up with my comments...

Jack
Here is Jack after his grooming on Saturday...
He is growing so quickly and really looks like his father Rafferty...
The grooming went quite well although he wriggled and wined a bit...
I learnt how to cut his claws and the hair that grows between them...
It was good to know just how much nail to take off...too much and it will bleed...
Katarina and Andrea were very pleased with him and said he was the best in that litter...
They are eager to show him when he is old enough and that's fine with us...
Just short walks today we have a lot of rain after such a beautiful much warmer day yesterday...
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend...
Will catch up with you ASAP...

Charlie..
Charlie looking fresh and tidy after his shower and grooming...
He is still a little overweight but we don't know how long it takes for the cortisone to get out of his system...
Like all dogs he is always wanting food but we are keeping to a reasonable diet and hope after all his exercise he will soon be slimmer...
At last a beautiful sunny morning after a few grey rainy days...
The walks will be a real pleasure today...
Peter has gone to buy the fencing for the bottom of the back garden so hopefully it will be done this weekend...
Charlie and Jack are newspaper shredding at the moment as they wait for me to take them out....
Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend and the sun shines wherever you are...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...

Sharing a ball...
Charlie and Jack having fun down by the water...
We have had wonderful sunny warm days this week...
Such a tonic...
Today Charlie swam for the first time and he loved it...
Jack watched nervously and was happy when Charlie returned to shore....
It's now very difficult to keep them out of the water and maybe it won't be too long before Jack swims too....
Happy to get this week over in one respect though as it was my yearly check up at the hospital...
A few days of meds then the examination...
I think it went well though and now just have to wait a few weeks for the lab results...
Have a great weekend and hope the sun shines for you all...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...

Jack...
Here is Jack looking over the garden wall...
This week he made his first escape over it to follow one of our neighbors...
Guess what we will be doing this weekend...
Back to the store for something to make sure they can't get out again...
Great escape artists they always find somewhere to get out...
Charlie managed to get under the next door neighbors balcony and it was really difficult to get him out...
In the end a bribe of some treats worked...
Never a dull moment...
We can't give them rawhide treats anymore as Jack is finding them difficult to chew as his new teeth come through...
So he growls at Charlie as he guards his...
Poor Charlie is too busy with his own but finds it hard to ignore the growls...
We were told by Katarina that at some time they would decide who is boss and I think at the moment it's Jack...
Charlie is much softer with a kind and gentle personality whilst Jack is a tough guy and very vocal...
They are sleeping just now so at last I can catch up with some comments...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...
Charlie and Jack just chillin....
The boys like to sit here and check that all is well in our street...
Charlie is always the first to bark if he see's someone he doesn't know,a bicycle, wheelbarrow or one of the many neighborhood cats...Jack soon joins in and tries to find a way to escape so he can fully investigate...
Happy now that there are no escape routes in the front garden but Jack and Charlie are now able to jump onto the raised flower beds...so it's back to the drawing board to find something to protect my roses and other flowers...It's difficult to find the things that are sold at every garden centre in England or I could fix it quickly...
Charlie and Jack are almost the same size now...still Charlie is a little overweight though...we have ordered a different dog food with much less fat content...maybe that will help...
This afternoon we had thunder and lightening and Charlie and Jack were very surprised...they didn't quite know what to make of it...I was very industrious this morning and did my cleaning....intending to sit out in the afternoon sun...Ha more fool me...next time it's sun first and cleaning later...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...

Jack the gardener and Charlie his apprentice ....
Here is Jack taking a break from gardening, Charlie looking in the grass to see if anything needs to be pulled out...
I am so surprised that I have any flowers in the back garden as from a very small puppy Jack showed his love of removing plants...
Had some lovely yellow crocus in Spring but the color was just too tempting and every time they passed them a few more flowers were eaten....The larger plants have survived well and will bloom soon and I am happy the Iris are all intact...
Maybe it's just a puppy phase...we will see...
It's been a rainy week and quite chilly so the boys haven't had a daily swim...but they found a long fat rope to play with down by the water and many many sticks so they are well entertained....
I hope you all have a great weekend and I thank you for your visits and kind words...

Summer fun...
Hello everyone....hope you have all had a fabulous summer with lots of sunshine...
After a very cool start can't complain about July at all...
As you see Jack and Charlie are very happy with their daily swims...
Charlie is a champion swimmer and although Jack got off slowly he is swimming well and is now the first into the water...
They are still growing and at the moment we think Charlie is in charge...he's very patient with Jack but puts him in his place when he goes too far...Sadly the back garden is a big mess...but hopefully next year they might calm down with the gardening and racing around if not we will have mostly grass and a few tough plants...
We have been really busy with the wood chopping this year as apart from our usual order Peters mother had nine trees cut down and gave them to us ...we definitely are prepared for winter....
Happy to be back at PBase summer just flies by and there has been much to do so I haven't had enough time to sit and relax...Ha ha but in winter maybe it's too much sitting....
Hopefully will catch up with all of you in the next few days and I thank you for your visits and kind words...always gratefully received....
Charlie...
A serious pose from Charlie he is waiting to go for a walk and perhaps a swim...
Almost time again for a trim....
His hair is very thick and grows quickly so I rang Katarina today and soon he will be groomed....
We have been invited to a puppy meeting at the beginning of October and we will see some of Charlie and Jacks siblings...
Look forward to seeing how they have all grown...
Charlie was very curious about the dog looking back at him in the mirror today...he tried to get into it and behind it then growled and did a few woofs...had a last look and walked away...
Still very hot here so it's early morning and evening walks just now...after the wonderful evenings of being light almost all night, the nights are drawing in now and it's getting dark about 9.15...Have to take the walk before then as they will only walk to the top of the street in the dark...Hopefully they will get used to it in the winter...if not they won't have so many walks...
Thank you all so much for your visits and kind words...
Jack...
Took a few snaps when we were down by the water yesterday ....
After the boys swim they like to chase and retrieve sticks...
Most days I have to go on a stick hunt as we always loose them....
We have taught Charlie and Jack to search and find a ball around the house...
They think its great fun and wait eagerly for a treat when the ball is found...
Charlie will now speak on command but Jack just watches and waits for a treat...
They just love to learn new things and we must find more things for them to do...
Keeps them out of mischief...
Thank you all for your visits and kind words...
Charlie....
Charlie waiting patiently for his stick to be thrown into the water as he doesn't feel it's time to go home yet...
He is 10 months old today...How the time has flown since February...
It's been raining most of the day so no swim for the boys...
How they will miss their daily dip when the summer ends...
They are both sleeping as close as they can get to me and its quite difficult to type...
Don't know what I did before we got them...must have had a lot of time on my hands...
Definitely feel the benefit of the walks now....don't even mind going in the rain...
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend...
Thank you for your visits and kind words...
Jack with his huge stick...
What fun the boys have had this summer....
Now they are getting to know the area well and like nothing more than wandering through the forest and of course playing in the sea....
It's getting cooler now morning and evening and there is a definite smell of Autumn in the air...
I look forward to the colors of the new season...
Have to get some wellies as in the long grass it is really wet in the mornings....
Jack was sick and had the runs yesterday so who knows what he has eaten when we have been out...
I am always taking snails from them as they will eat them...shells as well....
So it's just the dry food for him today...
He is very lively though and at the moment they are chasing flies....
Thank you all for your visits and kind words....
To swim or not to swim???
Of course they did and every day they can't resist a dip!
Both have had their first birthdays and I think are fully grown now...
Such a pleasure to have and they really keep me busy...
I intend to make time to visit PBase more often as I have missed you all...
Maybe I will forgo my afternoon nap...LOL...
We haven't got any snow and it's very wet and miserable weather...
Charlie and Jack love snow and we had it for two days at the beginning of December...
Their first reaction when I opened the door was to try eat it all...
then they just played and played the whole days in it...
I wish everyone a Wonderful 2014....hope it's a good one for us all...
