It's on Mt Hope place up the street from PS 28. I lived there with my Mom,Dad and my two brothers in 1969. It was a very nice building back then Huge rooms. Sunken living room . Good times. My teacher in PS28 was Mrs. Katz.

I lived in this building from the day i was born 7/54 until I moved out in 9/66. I went to ps 28 right down the street, which when I was little I thought it was miles away.. I then for a year attended Wade JHS. I was in apt 3c facing the front when the ice cream man came my mom tossed a quarter wrapped in tin foil from the window. The building holds so many memories for me.. This building was my childhood all the neighbors were your friends. It was a wonderful way to grow up... thanks for posting the pictures and the ones of the library and so many more...

My family and I lived in this building from Spring 1957 to the early 1970's. Our apartment was 5F, I think - in the front. My bedroom window was directly above the building entrance. We moved there as refugees from a deco building demolished to make way from the Cross Bronx - 55 East 174th st. P. S 28 is on the same block.
