I do believe that Chuck was right. There was a practically empty lot on the hil along the side of the street steps leading from Fetherbed Lane to Davidson Avenue. When last I looked, a couple of years ago, the house was still there. I do believe that I lived in the same building as Chuck, as did Elaine Warshaw. It was 1668 Davidson Avenue, the second building from the steps on the right

There is a simular place to this on the West side on Valentine Ave Btwn. E.180th St.& E.181st st. Address should be around #2110

That's the "lots' below the dead end on Davidson, next to the stairs. That single family house was always there and now looks fixed up - but I doubt very much that this is their land. They've chain-linked their place off from it. My two cents.
