Dale Chilhuly's creates delicate organic forms from nature using vibrantly-coloured glass. His artistry glass works range from incredible monumental works to individual smaller pieces. I was lucky enough to visit his exhibition in the V&A London back in 2001. His major collection of glass art can be seen in public places around the world but in particular at Chilhuly Gardens and Glass within the Seattle Centre. His ideas are recorded in numerous sketch books, a favourite of mine.
