Bubsie is a crossed breed between Brown Classic Tabby and White, she also has ears tilt slightly forward, well-spaced eyes with distinct nose break of Brown Mackerel Tabby – Ancestry: Burmese + Chinchilla Longhair, here my friend writes about his cat “Bubsie”…

I have had Bubsie now for 10 years. She came from a “cats’ home” in 1998 with another cat - which was her mother. I was told that they were then aged 3 and 2. I believe they were quite a lot older as when I took them to the Vet for some injections the mother had previously had some teeth removed. That suggested that they were older than what I was told.

The mother cat died 2 years ago - Bubsie though is in good health and enjoys a nice quiet life. She is allowed the run of the house and can sit where she likes. She likes company very much and misses us when I am out with my parents.

She doesn't like cold weather or when its too hot - like most cats she does like to sit in the warmest places. She doesn't go out of the garden and never crosses the road - which is reassuring.

Bubsie is quite old now and I would guess that she could be as old at 14. She does well and I hope she lives another good few years.
