In the early hours of Wednesday 21st February 2007, my wife started having contractions with the labour of our first child. The contractions weren't that long at the time so I decided to go out and capture the sunrise on the day my boy was going to hopefully be born. I didn't see the sun directly, it partly pierced the clouds to give a nice glow, its a very special shot that I am particularly happy with.

btw Bradley was born just a few hours later and he and his mother were just fine.
