A great picture!
It creates a mysterious and nearly thrilling impression.
I am addicted to benches (seehttp://famillebogliari.free.fr/Le-site-des-bancs.html) and I would like to know where this scene takes place.

Yep, just played around with a crop in my browser window. If you crop out a bit of the foreground and the first partial bench. You don't have to get all of the black iron at the top back of the bench. I think it kicks it up a notch. See what you think.--Rene

Lovely color and composition. Might have wanted the full arm for the closest bench, but won't quibble.--voted. Rene

Neil,

I LOVE this photograph. That 7d sure is tempting, but I already have the Canon 10D (which I love). The 7d sure has my head spinning with the IS built in. What lens did you use with this? It's just beautiful. Well done!
