This junction was significant to us as we had completed a 'loop' from here, to Mt Dare, Dalhousie Springs and across the Simpson Desert to Poeppel Corner, up the Hay River, west to Alice Springs, south on the Old Ghan Line and finally to this junction. Quite a journey.
