There really isn't an actual trail to the lake.
Following the edge of the lake and picking a path through the maze of impediments is the only way.
Some climbing on the rocks is also necessary. Slow progress with camera gear.

What a stunning spot, Roy. Worth the difficult trek to get there for this marvelous shot. I love the reflection and the beautiful rocks in that great light.
