In 1984 Chris Whyman won the honour of being the City of Kingston's town crier and he has been at it ever since. Along the way he has won provincial, national, and world championships. The latter in 2004 and he is on his way back to Chester in the U.K this June to do it all over again. Along the way he has made a ton of friends for himself and the City of Kingston. Chris became the manager of the downtown tourist office a couple of years ago, a perfect fit as he is now a Kingston icon. Congratulations to Chris, he has just won the 2010 World Championship.
